Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your Purple Tome account (operated by works on my machine LLC) and exactly what data is removed.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way — it takes effect immediately:
- Open the Purple Tome app and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Confirm in the dialog. Your account and data are permanently deleted right away.
Prefer we do it for you?
Email team@purpletome.com from the email address you used to sign in, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll verify it's you and delete your account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and sign-in identity (email address);
- Your name, if you provided one;
- Your saved birth details (date, time, and place);
- Your generated charts and readings;
- Any compatibility (synastry) records tied to your account.
This action cannot be undone.
What may be kept, and for how long
We may retain a limited amount of data only where the law requires it — for example, billing and transaction records needed for tax and accounting, kept for the period required by law (typically up to 7 years) and then deleted. Purchase records held by Apple, Google Play, or our payment processor are governed by their own policies.
Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained.
Note about subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, cancel it separately in Google Play → Subscriptions or Settings → Subscriptions on your device.
