Right Support
The warmer helper — the one who fixes the situation by fixing how people feel about it.
What it is
You Bi is the other assistant, and the difference from its pair is real rather than decorative. Left Support helps by taking on the work; Right Support helps by smoothing the way — reading the room, making the introduction, defusing the thing before it becomes a problem.
The tradition treats the two as inseparable and rates a chart that has both far above one that has either alone. One provides capability, the other provides access, and most things that actually get done need both.
How it actually shows up
It shows up as a social gift that does not look like ambition. People with a strong Right Support know who to ask, and are the person others are willing to say yes to. Doors open slightly earlier for them, and they often do not notice this is happening.
It also shows up as emotional labour — the unbilled work of keeping a team, a family, or a friendship group functioning. This star is very good at it, which is precisely why it ends up doing so much of it.
What tests it
Conflict that cannot be smoothed. Some situations need a decision that will upset someone, and the reflex to soften every edge can drag those out for months past the point where anyone was still comfortable.
The other test is keeping score. Help given freely stops being free the moment it starts being counted, and the resentment that builds up here is slow, quiet, and usually invisible to everyone but the person carrying it.
