What it does
Hua Lu marks the place where things come easily. Resources, opportunities, goodwill — whatever that palace governs, it arrives with less friction than it does for other people.
It is the transformation with the fewest caveats attached, which is why it gets over-sold. Ease is not the same as achievement.
How to read it
Note the palace, not just the star. Lu in the Wealth palace reads as income that finds you; Lu in the Partner palace reads as relationships that start easily. Same transformation, entirely different life.
The classical warning is worth keeping: a 禄 with nothing structural behind it is described as a fortunate position that is never converted. Flow through an empty channel is still just flow.
