What it is
Tian Liang is 荫星, the shade star — shelter, and the resolution of trouble after it has already started. The classics call it 化解, which is not prevention but repair: the star that turns a disaster into a survivable situation.
It carries seniority regardless of age. A young Tian Liang is the one the others go to.
How it actually shows up
Guardians look after people whether or not they were asked, and they are principled about it in a way that occasionally lands as moralising. There is usually an interest in medicine, law, teaching, or the traditions — fields where the job is to know the rule and apply it kindly.
The tradition also gives this star a taste for the classical and the philosophical. It ages well.
What tests it
Needing the crisis. 天梁 is defined by its response to trouble, and a life with no trouble in it leaves the star underemployed — the classics associate this with a restlessness that goes looking for something to fix.
The second test is being carried rather than carrying. Accepting help is measurably harder for this star than giving it.
