What it is
Po Jun is 耗星, the star of expenditure — and the classics mean it in both directions: what gets spent, and what gets cleared to make room. Its whole method is demolition followed by rebuilding, 先破后立.
Of the fourteen, this is the one that does not renovate. It replaces.
How it actually shows up
Pioneers tear things down and build them better, and they are usually right that the old version was not worth saving. Careers, cities, relationships, entire ways of working — the pattern repeats.
It is also the star of the unglamorous first version. Po Jun starts things that look like a mess for a year and then look inevitable.
What tests it
Rebuilding. The classics are precise about the failure mode: 破 without 立 — a talent for clearing ground that never gets around to putting anything on it. Demolition is the easy half.
The tradition also flags the cost. This star spends: money, relationships, accumulated goodwill. 天府 or 紫微 nearby gives it a treasury to spend from; without them, each rebuild starts from zero.
